011. Our Community
Dayo is a sports networking platform built for athletes, players, and sports enthusiasts across the Philippines. Our community is founded on sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. These Community Guidelines describe the standards of conduct expected of every member and explain how we enforce them. By using Dayo, you agree to uphold these standards.
These Guidelines apply to all content and behavior on the platform, including your profile, posts, messages, comments, match activity, club membership, and interactions with other users.
022. Respect and Sportsmanship
We expect all members to treat one another with respect both on and off the court. Healthy competition is welcome on Dayo; harassment, bullying, and personal attacks are not. You may disagree with another player's skill level or conduct during a match, but that disagreement must be expressed constructively and respectfully.
Sportsmanship means accepting both victory and defeat gracefully, following the rules of your sport, and giving your opponents the same respect you expect in return. Conduct that undermines fair play including cheating, manipulating scores, or threatening other users violates these Guidelines and may result in account suspension.
033. Prohibited Content
Dayo is a community platform for sport. The following content is prohibited and will be removed:
Hate Speech and Discrimination. Content that attacks, demeans, or dehumanizes individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
Harassment and Bullying. Repeatedly targeting another user with unwanted messages, insults, or threats constitutes harassment. Coordinated efforts to shame or intimidate a specific person whether a player, referee, or club organizer are also prohibited.
Violence and Threats. Content that depicts or glorifies real-world violence, or that threatens physical harm to another person, will be removed immediately and may be reported to law enforcement.
Sexual and Explicit Content. Sexually explicit material, content that sexualizes minors, or any content that violates Philippine laws on obscenity and child protection is strictly prohibited.
Misinformation. Deliberately false information intended to deceive other users including fake match results, fabricated club credentials, or false claims about other members undermines trust in the community and will be actioned.
Spam and Commercial Solicitation. Unsolicited commercial messages, excessive cross-posting, and the use of Dayo to advertise third-party products or services without our authorization are not permitted.
Illegal Activity. Content that facilitates, promotes, or encourages illegal activity under Philippine law including gambling, match-fixing, drug use, or any form of fraud is strictly prohibited.
044. Match and Club Integrity
The integrity of matches and club rankings is central to the Dayo experience. You must not falsify match results, arrange deliberate losses for competitive advantage, impersonate another player, or use automation or third-party tools to manipulate your rating or statistics. Clubs may not use fake accounts to inflate their membership numbers or match records.
If you witness suspected match manipulation or cheating, please report it using the in-app reporting feature so we can investigate.
055. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please use the in-app reporting tools to flag it. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take all reports seriously and will investigate each one promptly. Do not attempt to retaliate against a user you believe has violated these Guidelines; instead, allow our team to handle the situation.
You may also send a detailed report by email to dayo.ph.it.services@gmail.com if you are unable to use the in-app reporting feature or if the matter is urgent.
066. Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove content, issue warnings, temporarily suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these Guidelines or our Terms of Service. The severity and nature of the violation will determine the appropriate response. Violations involving threats of violence, child safety, or criminal activity will be escalated immediately, including referral to law enforcement where required by Philippine law.
Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent account termination without prior warning. Banned users may not create new accounts to circumvent enforcement actions. Attempts to evade a ban are themselves grounds for further action.
If you believe that enforcement action was taken against your account in error, you may appeal by contacting us at dayo.ph.it.services@gmail.com with a clear explanation of your appeal. We will review appeals in good faith.
077. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in the platform or community standards. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use of the Service after updated Guidelines take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised standards.
